I'd be in, especially if we could get delivery before June

Things that I got: Formosa POW suit, GI shirts, a few ties, a Drake’s square, a Suzusan scarf, Leder shirt, Schneider sweater, Monitaly jacket. Will be emailing shortly about more MTM Rota, since the higher rise with a slight adjustment are basically a perfect fit. Like I can’t believe how well they drape.

Missed the grey IM turtleneck in my size. It was sold out when temps finally dropped enough for me to wear it.

Wanted to get a S&C cardigan but the colors available didn’t grab me once I figured out my size. I’d like a darker shade of green, more grey/charcoal. Maybe even ebony.

I wanted to get a couple more colors of Sozzi wool knit ties but it looked like you didn’t restock this F/W—understandable with the general decrease in tie wear.

Thing that I most regret not getting: the green Leder double breasted coat from last year. Told myself I didn’t have room for it. I’m an idiot.

From what I saw on IG stories, the fabrics choices are also pretty killer as always. Looking forward to seeing what is offered in a few weeks!

I love Formosa, but can't really justify Formosa purchases while living outside the US. Shipping + import fees + alterations fees bring the cost of Formosa almost to the cost of bespoke, but without the latter's customization. This has nothing to do with the quality or value for money of Formosa (which I think are both very good). Rather an explanation for why my own Formosa purchasing has dropped off. There's still plenty of demand for quality suits and jackets from me :teach:

I floated a similar idea a few weeks ago, suggesting a lightweight brown summer suit that could be broken into separates (patch pockets, waterfall shoulder).

There was some interest expressed by others.

At the time i suggested something besides linen, perhaps w-s-l blend. I also linked a couple swatches, one that was wool - mohair (i think). Of course, i would be open to whatever Greg or others think is nice.

That being said i suppose i would be in for straight linen, provided it is real brown.

I wonder if this is a real option, and if so - how many committed persons would be needed to make the order?

    Strongly seconded.

I purchased the brown cav twill this year and love them. I'd love to see more tough and causal fabrics with the high rise side tabs option. Brown color preferred ... cotton twill, moleskin, wool cords...

Purchased the Formosa fox bros jacket but had to return, and my correct size was gone by then. Bought last season's fox tweed (with the big glen check), and love it. Would have bought the brown on brown glen check but it sold out quick. Same goes for the green herringbone.

By chance do you have experience with Eidos pants and can speak about the similarities and differences to Rota MTM? The higher rise comment caught my attention. Like how high are we speaking of?

Also random thought, is 11" consider high rise enough to wear at natural waist? The Eidos Sal and Lorenzo are not that much longer in the front rise but they seem to fit at the natural waist perfectly. I have pants with 11" rise and just curious whether I should be wearing them higher up.

Yes. Is it possible to get side tabs with Formosa?

The Rota ones have grown on me.

No experience with Eidos trousers, sorry. The rise of the higher rise Rota is at my natural waist, but that’s obviously going to vary for everyone.
