Moscow was just my coat of choice when I optimistically went down to the NLDS game 4 at Wrigley that ended up getting rained out. I did take the fleece collar off, but added the hood, which don't usually wear. I was not hot sitting there waiting for them to postpone the game just in time for us all to go stand in the driving rain waiting to get into the Addison CTA stop. I was also not wet.

    Score
    MLB weather forecasters 0
    Norwegian Rain Moscow 1

Will also note that getting out of and away from Wrigley is a nightmare with any volume of people at all. It has historic, awful disaster written all over it should there ever be a panic for some reason.

Reasons enough for the Cubs never to go to the WS again.

Sounds good - thanks. It is pretty close to what I was asking.

Never again?!?! But there will be so many sad Midwesterners. We know they are patient, maybe it can just be another 108 years?

My kid damn near had a panic attack as we pushed our way into the redline after the game. Didn't help that a woman threatened to pull out a gun on someone once we got on the train or that I was laughing out loud at her for being f.o.s.

Won't joke around about that. That's inexcusable to make a threat like that period. I don't want to find out if she's FOS or not.

My usual experience is that is dangerously overcrowded but at least people maintain their composure. Hope it didn't spoil the visit to the park for your kid.
