You can't buy the mannequin either :p

Honestly though, would you prefer that we show the tuxedo with a regular white shirt, simply because we sell a white shirt?

im not a tux guy, so its not really applicable to me, but im curious so ill ask.

i cant imagine it being modeled without a tuxedo shirt, but curiously, why did you guys choose not to offer a tux shirt for sale?

No particular reason other than it was not a priority. There are many things that we don't have, whether for a black tie rig (e.g. shirt, studs, braces, cummerbund or patent shoes) or in general (e.g. French cuff shirts, cuff links, hats, and many other things).

We just don't carry everything - there's no particular reason for it other than we have to start somewhere.

Sorry about the delay, but here are thigh measurements for the 32 and 34 that we have, as we are currently sold out of size 33:

32 measures 12" or about 31cm across the thigh, right at the crotch (measuring tape held perpendicular to the outseam)

The 34 measures 12.5" or about 32 cm.

The leg opening is 8" on the 32, and 8.25" on the 34. All in all, they're a pretty regular pair of straight cut jeans, hence the name.

As always, let me know if there is anything else I can help with, especially regarding measurements or sizing info.

Thanks for the answer! Looks like they're probably still a bit too slim for me, I'll have to keep searching. Maybe I should be like stichy and just stop trying to wear denim altogether :)

In case you wanted some more info, I wanted to give my personal input on this as well. I have a pretty average foot, and my CP size is 42. I wear 42 in the Buttero sneakers, but I could go down to a 41.5 in the boots.

Looks like a spoke a little too soon about the Big John Regular Straight Cut being out of stock in 33, since right after I posted that we got our restock in, and it's all back in the inventory now. Some of you may have gotten email notifications, but pretty much everything that was OOS is now back, including the shrink-to-fit, slim tapered in black and indigo, and the aforementioned straight cut in indigo.

[IMG] I can think of a few guys over here that could probably rack up almost the full bonus set just from NMWA. Sadly I'm not one of them... yet

I hope the SF Gods will forgive me for talking non-NMWA clothes in this thread, but I have pretty big thighs myself. I have a pair of the APC New Standards, which I would describe the fit as snug, but not tight. I did want something that was more relaxed and had a higher rise so I went with the Kicking Mule Works 1950's (which are on closeout at Context Clothing). They were a bit too generous, so I had them altered pretty much from top to bottom. They came out pretty awesome and the denim is very nice. Also you may want to look at some of the Levi's Vintage Clothing cuts (like the 1947 501).
