Anyone have any insight into how the Rota trousers fit? Never tried on a pair. (Any comparable brands? How slim is it thru the seat / thigh / knee / calf / leg opening?

I am originally from Canada and I have an English mother. Certain Britishisms have definitely rubbed off on me over the years!

I am not going to give you comparable brands, because I find that a difficult exercise. What I will say, is that as a relatively "athletic" individual, the trousers fit "conservatively" slim, not "awkwardly" slim.

Guys - there was a glitch on Esemplare which was not showing discount. That's fixed now.

Last night reminded me of those early days of Gilt.com when it was all the rage. I was sitting there waiting for 12:00, raring to go, and got shut out. Everything I wanted was either sold out or gone in my size. But I am not bitter (I am, in fact, quite bitter) but am glad a lot of fun was had by all and I will keep an eye out on Buy and Sell for those items that don't fit or work out.

Weren't you asking about the camel DB Casentino coat yesterday? No better price than today's. ;) Of course, sizing is a bit wonky (most people sized up; I didn't and am very happy with my decision), so the no-return policy may be a deal killer.

Damage was bad: Vass suede brogues, Mazzarelli blue royal oxford shirt, Inis Meain brown Gansey sweater. I keep telling myself that I would have bought these items eventually. No more kopping for a long time. Well except for some tweed trousers from Epaulet.

A tie binge for me. As I said, NMWA has the best selection going!

Probably back for round 2 soon.
