1. And... we're back. You'll notice that all of your images are back as well, as are our beloved emoticons, including the infamous :foo: We have also worked with our server folks and developers to fix the issues that were slowing down the site.

There is still work to be done - the images in existing sigs are not yet linked, for example, and we are working on a way to get the images to load faster - which will improve the performance of the site, especially on the pages with a ton of images, and we will continue to work diligently on that and keep you updated.

That is beautiful but I can't even imagine how self-conscious I'd feel wearing it mountain-side-out. (Wearing it mountain-side-in and knowing that it was there, but hidden, would be nice, though, especially if one were reading Essays in Idleness or some such at the same time.)

So the eidos "pre orders" up on the site now -- is that only the balance for folks who had ordered their jackets already? Or, can I order a navy hopsack?

Edit: looks like they were the SS17 preorders back from July... lll wait until the drop of the stock options (eidos 2) unless told otherwise...

Nice, thank you! I was getting pretty excited for spring and summer as I set up BBJ. Lots of good stuff in there.

Which tunic were you looking at? I'll go try it on now but I've never been anything but a small in IM

@conceptual 4est or @gdl203, could you pull out the Blue Blue kimono and cardigan for my Formosa appointment? Don't mean to be a pain, but I have a quick turnaround for the train and want to check those out if there's time today.

I still can't believe I missed out on last year's cardigan, but this is a different fabric, right? I remember S/S '16 being more of a crunchy textured linen--little more substantial than this gauzy one.

I was hoping for a straight re-issue, but I don't think that's how BBJ rolls.

Yeah, last year's was much crunchier (at least from the looks of things) but is missing those delicious florals from this year's version. Fit-wise it looks about the same.

    That was my fault [IMG]

I accidentally put only one of each size when we in fact have two (!!)

    Fujisan is back now

Sorry, was just at NMWA and grabbed one to go. The cardigan is pretty great too, and may have been more of what I was looking for in terms of weight; but that kimono was too good to pass up.

Would love to see pictures of them worn, eyeing the cardigan.

@conceptual 4est how does the kimono fit? What sort of size range does the small cover? You know, for science...

I'm a 50ish in Formosa (49 if it existed), and I got the small. I could have done either size, but wanted the small since I plan to wear it often with shorts. One just fits more robe-ish than the other.

Ninja-dropped with that Eidos. I am guessing the remainder of the Eidos drop is coming in the future? Specifically, the Solaro and the Fresco?

And DLJ, I am proud of you for nabbing that Kimono.

Definitely out of my comfort zone. Plus, I plan on wearing both sides equally.

Oh, and if you're in the market for a field jacket, the technical fabric is fantastic. My favorite of the field jackets they've offered thus far.

Reminds of funny Seinfeld episode (and good Kramer quote)

"That television you watch, the sake you drink, even that kimono you wear...where do you think all your dollars are going, Jerry? That's right ... the Japanese!"
