1. And... we're back. You'll notice that all of your images are back as well, as are our beloved emoticons, including the infamous :foo: We have also worked with our server folks and developers to fix the issues that were slowing down the site.

    There is still work to be done - the images in existing sigs are not yet linked, for example, and we are working on a way to get the images to load faster - which will improve the performance of the site, especially on the pages with a ton of images, and we will continue to work diligently on that and keep you updated.

    Cheers,

    If you are still marinating, don't, just do it. The Fat Carter is essentially unbeatable and outright awesome at this (or any) price point.
    (Mine looks like Patrick's.)

    Any chance of pics of the eidos waxed FJ? I wonder if there's going to be any interesting stock FJs coming as well...

    Can anyone comment on the fit of the James Grose "Kansan"? Do you take your normal jacket/suit size? How's the fit in the upper arms and shoulders?

    Don't have pics handy but mine has held up to two years of abuse, including accidentally burning one of the zips (long story) which I've since had replaced.

    A++ would buy again

    Thank you Greg. I placed my order...for the Grose and the Fat Carter, couldn't resist. :)

    Will be setting up a meeting in the near future to order the Inglese's and Formosa. Again, I really appreciate your time and insights from a couple weeks ago!

    I may be in the minority, but I like the scuffs/nicks/signs of wear on a briefcase. I like the character (along with the patina) it adds to it. The Carter is seriously tempting.

    Thanks for the pics!

    It came out really nice, the waxy gloss gives the jacket a totally different feel!

    That waxed version is awesome. If anybody wants to trade their 52 or 54 waxed for my 52 casentino, let me know!

    Those Fat Carters are gorgeous... would the La Portegna Portfolio fit in there without any problems?

    Really well. From time to time, I rub the scratches with Nivea moisturiser but ultimately, it just keeps getting better. I've recently been using my Christian Kimber tote as my daily bag but expect to go back to the Fat Carter soon.

    These Kanata sweaters are the perfect work at home wear. Loving this Navy one.

    I wore one to the office today. Am I doing it wrong?
