1. And... we're back. You'll notice that all of your images are back as well, as are our beloved emoticons, including the infamous :foo: We have also worked with our server folks and developers to fix the issues that were slowing down the site.

There is still work to be done - the images in existing sigs are not yet linked, for example, and we are working on a way to get the images to load faster - which will improve the performance of the site, especially on the pages with a ton of images, and we will continue to work diligently on that and keep you updated.

Will you have a swatch of the herringbone cloth at the show tomorrow?

I won't. I don't have my own set of swatches yet - waiting for them to arrive.

Also, I've talked a few times before about how much I love these Begg washed cashmere scarves, but I will do it one more time. Their texture is difficult to convey in photos, but they have the softness of cashmere but the wash makes them just a bit rough and wrinkled - so that it feels more tangible than the typical cloud-like cashmere feel. I love them and have not seen anything else quite like them.

There's quite a few actually. Also for linings - including quilted lining, which would be awesomely cool on a suede DR or band collar jacket IMO

Fingers crossed for opening the MTOs up for those who can't make it.

We will put together online MTO for both Eidos FJ and James Grose next week. Please be patient as it takes time to take pics of all the swatches and set it up

Yes, that was the joke, although maybe not very well executed.

I don't know if this helps but I'm a brannock size 11.5 narrow side of D. I tried both a 43 and a 43.5 of the side zip distressed Ontano's. The 43 was a bit short at the toe and a hair tight... The 43.5 was the better fit all around.

I guess that turns out to be one size down?

I'm an 11 with Alden Trubalance boots.

Very helpful. Guess I will pass these boots. Too bad they are so nice and at great price right now.

You're right. The boots have a beautiful last and shape. Perfect in my eyes.

If I didn't already have the side zip distressed Ontano's I would have gone for them.
