^ while I personally keep a zip lock bag, I've seen a number of toiletry bags that come with small clear internal bags for that purpose.

I do have a separat dopp kit for road trips when I don't have to worry about nonsense like airport security and can carry a few more items.

You don't need a clear bag at the airport. I have a La Portegna in the cement canvas/leather style of the bag on the NMWS site. Worth considering...

I thought it was the case as well, but noticed my wife hadn't used own in years and so I bought the La Portegna the beginning of last year. I have never had a problem.

You don't need a clear bag if you are TSA precheck / global entry. I don't take my shoes off, Computer and toiletries stay in the bag. I still travel with my liquids a clear bag but that is b/c i am a creature of habit/routine when it comes to travel.

Those Formosa jackets you posted today look sweet. Looking forward to seeing more Formosa and Rota at the SF trunk show and in NYC at The Proper Kit show.

Correct

We'll have one of their iconic U-cap spectator designs, but everything is else is just tasteful, rather sober styles. The stuff that we want to wear day in, day out.

We won''t have any boots to start with.

Nice waist and mitered heel - a lot of English shoe sensibility in the design and construction

And these are a replica of the boots custom made for Lapo Elkann (quotes from Dante's Inferno written with gold ink) - we won't sell those
@gdl203 - will you have Barbanera shoes by SF Trunk show, especially that suede monk?

Do you guys only get a single unit of size 46/36 per jacket? I swear they're always sold out!

Great Formosa stuff. Can't wait to see some wares at the SF trunk show.

I was traveling once or twice a month in 2013 and 2014 and I never used a clear bag, and I was never stopped at security to look at my dopp kit. It's a rule they don't enforce for some reason.

I didn't know it was a rule. I travel frequently with a solid black kit. Never had any issue.

You seriously didn't know this was a rule? There's been redundant signs all through airport security lines repeating the same 3-1-1 rule for a full decade now. I have not once gone through security without (a) seeing those signs and (b) having to listen to a TSA agent stand there and ramble off the same rules about shoes, liquids and laptops
