Kop one and end your jealousy!!

    -

Have to say that Greg is spot on about the hanger. I also found myself getting rid of all the very wide hangers that I have just so I could make space for more awesome clothing. This hanger is perfect.

My sartorio by kiton hangar is the same thing. Id buy 10 if i knew where to.

That was a good article: perfect for us fantasists. Your wife sounds like a cool lady; it's nice when our companions share our aesthetic passions. A welcome change of pace from posters who treat their shopping like a bad gambling habit and talk about smuggling things into the house -- which would be laughable if it weren't sad.
Not uncommonly seen in use by Italian tailors of repute, too.

Stitchy - be baller, order a box and get your name/avatar/lewd image on the plate that snaps onto those hangers....

thanks, buddy! based on my tailors general lead time, id say best case scenario end of next week, smart money says the week after.

Update on the Casentino: this is over a medium duty wool pullover. Sleeves are short, but that's just an idiosyncrasy (usually have to let my jacket sleeves out from RTW). Otherwise, shoulders are good, upper body feels snug but not packed, however movement is slightly restricted.

Details on size, for the public benefit: I am normally a 52L in RTW, except measurements on my jackets correspond more closely to the 50 in the Formosa on NMWA (apart from length). Thus, I ordered a 52 because the shoulders etc. seemed to be one size up from those parameters. The 54 should be arriving shortly, at which point further testing shall be conducted.

In any case, I reiterate my appreciation at the feel and the look of the coat. It is absolutely superb - pick one up while you still can, and I'm just crossing my fingers that the 54 fits well.

(P.S. Sorry Greg/Edouard about doing the size juggling thing.)

The hangers are the bees knees, I was pretty excited to see that Greg was using them. They are my favorite hangers by far.

Stitch, you should give us a live demo of the suit at the trunk show.

Those are some great hangars--I have one for a Battistoni jacket I have. Would happily replace my other hangars with more of those. Greg is right, they are the perfect size.

ZOMG! This suit is all sorts of awesome. God I want to try one! Regarding those hangers, pretty sure they are Mainetti and you can buy directly from them but I think there's a minimum. Also you can create your own custom nameplate. :slayer:

mez - looks a little bit snug, but it does look nice. Will be interested to see what the size up looks like.

DL - LOL, but not likely. I don't plan on wearing a suit and tie to the trunk show. Sorry buddy.

steve - thanks! go head and try one. :)
