1. And... we're back. You'll notice that all of your images are back as well, as are our beloved emoticons, including the infamous :foo: We have also worked with our server folks and developers to fix the issues that were slowing down the site.

There is still work to be done - the images in existing sigs are not yet linked, for example, and we are working on a way to get the images to load faster - which will improve the performance of the site, especially on the pages with a ton of images, and we will continue to work diligently on that and keep you updated.

    Cheers,

Slight addendum: While the coat is better over knitwear, it will work over a trim sportscoat. As far as fit goes, I'm with LA Guy in preferring a closer fit. The size 50 (I am a slim size 40) fits well in the shoulder, chest, and arms. Because the coat has a lot of waist suppression, it is slightly snug in the waist, but nothing too bad. Just a reminder that I need to go to the gym at least twice a week. :) I'm therefore leaning toward keeping the 50 rather than trying to size up. Obviously, YMMV.

Lets not get carried away. I am just a regular dude.

Thanks! The width does not bother me at all. And if you need 3.5 they have plenty in their selection.

I need to make sure this does not happen. I'm trying to limit myself to jeans at the trunk show, but there are a couple farnese belts, the grey alva mac jacket, and a couple bags that are dangerously close to moving from wants to needs.

I need a NoManKopsAlone support group.

    Dat collar indeed.

I'm on the fence about placketless BDs but that looks really nice.

For what it's worth, here's Edouard in the 48R, 50R and 52R. He claims he has the same stats as you but he typically wears 50 so probably some difference in chest size there

I think 50R is the best fit on him.

Shorten the sleeves on the 50R and that's a pretty damn good RTW IMHO.

I actually didn't even realized it was placketless until I got it. I'm fine with this as well, thought it's not the usual for me.

Not sure if I want to plug that into the Internet to see what shows up... :)

Dissenting voice - I like the 48, but I could be persuaded that the 50 looks good as well.
