Which Inglese did you buy @Newcomer? Also, did you end up buying the red pleated Camoshita Pants? :embar: Interested in fit pics if you did.

If I'm a 8.5 US and wear a 7.5 in Carmina and C&J, what would my size be in Vass's F-last? I've looked into it and some people say the F-last runs large, so size down half a size (making me a EU 41) and others don't, which would put me at 41.5. I'm very interested in the Norweger, but it's available in 41 and 42 but not 41.5. Anyone have any advice on the sizing?

    Thanks for any help.

I picked up the blue/white stripe. Simple and conservative!

And I did not buy the burgundy pants. I chickened out :). Maybe later...

And King Calder, I would say you are a 41.5. But I will leave that to the experts.

Thanks for the help, Newcomer. I was trying to convince myself that 41 would work. Much better to wait. Greg, can we expect a restock of that model, or will there be new shoes coming in the spring?

Nice! I have that one coming tomorrow. I have a couple handmade styles already and like you said, they are amazing.

    Nice stuff, PoT.

Indeed I do hope they fit you. I only sold them because I am overshoed and it would be a shame if those two models were sitting in boxes. AS Hunt model in Burgundy Hatch Grain is great makeup.

I just went through this with the Norweger myself. I am a consistent 9 US, 8 Carmina. I originally bought the Norweger in a 42 and it was a little too big, with some slight heel slippage that I wasn't comfortable with. It would have probably been OK with an insole or thicker socks, but I could tell it was not an optimal l fit. I sized down to the 41.5 and it is perfect. I would try the 41 if I were you based on my anecdote. This is consistent with some of the subsequent data I gathered in the Vass thread regarding the fit of the F last.

Oh, I was taking about an Inglese shirt, but I sure hope those shoes fit too! I know I am good with the Vass and hopefully the AS will be fine, which I think they should be.

I'm 9D US and 8 UK in Carmina. I find 41.5 in the F-last to be the ideal fit for me.

Guys, what is the typical charge from your tailor for putting in working buttons/buttonholes? $10 per seems high, no?
