    Looking for a tie to go with the Formosa grey sharkskin. Any suggestions?

    Not trying to be a smartass, but it would be harder to find a tie that doesn't go with that suit. Congrats if you bought it (the suit).

    Grab that burgundy Bigi wool neat that is on sale. I have the blue one and it's a great tie.

    Well most of the wool Rotas are >$400, right? I'm not sure what the $40 tailoring credit entails (thanks for bringing that up), but if it's just hemming, I don't usually spend anywhere near that amount for that, so the grand "total" would be $350 or so?

    I'm not arguing whatsoever that Rota isn't dynamite value, just throwing it in there that I'd only be able to appreciate pants in a lower price tier :)

    Quote:Check out the current sales prices, you might need to click on the respective trews to see these, some are below $300 right now. (here's to hoping this is not inadvertently adding someone to the already too busy size 50 bracket...) PS: For unfinished items (hems, sleeves, buttonholes) there is a tailoring credit, not always mentioned and mostly only visible at check-out. Trews $40, SCs $100, Suits $140, all deducted at check-out.

    Thanks for the tip. Size 48 here, didn't see too much left in my price range, will check again.

    Great looking piece. I was highly interested in this piece since the first drop. Any chance you can post a picture with it worn? Would love to see how it looks on someone. Have you worn it out and comment on warmth? It sounds like wool Melton is nice and toasty.

    @gdl203

    I have the smallest of suggestions for improvement to the mountain parka. I love the heavy duty snaps used throughout, but the ones on the wrist are somewhat troublesome. They are a complete watch scratcher! I hear constant clanking against my watch when I walk (which sends panic though my body). If they added a small piece of felt or something to the underside of the enclosure on the inside of the jacket I think this would be a nice touch. Very minor but I thought worth mentioning

    Fully with you. And your sensible suggestion made me think I might have a tailor fit some little leather patches there.
