I'd like to see a couple of staple sportcoats from Formosa each season become a regular fixture, if it hasn't already. Those offered this season seemed to sell out in a hurry.

    1. Looks like A&S shoes are not going to be continued. Given our conversation last summer, I think in part you picked them up because of the quality to price ratio (finishing, materials). I'm sorry they didn't find a bigger fan base.

That said, if no A&S, then for dress shoe options, there's a slight hole. I doubt I will be able to shell out for Vass in the future (or anything in that tier or above). But a tier below would be Carminas (say sub $600). They still don't have a huge presence in the US relative to similar shoes (IMO). Epaulet is not stocking as many as they used to and harder to find good options (there are a few affiliate SF vendors who do, most international).

What about this filling a new hole in the shoe wear domain? Three or four well chosen styles might go over well.

    2. Outerwear is excellent, a revelation in so many cases. Thanks.

    3. Expanding Calabrese tie options (these are more affordable than Bigi, TyT and Drakes). I'd be curious for more options there (Drake's is quite easy to find so that market seems a bit of a glut). The Calbrese brown shepherd's check I handled in the summer was lovely though Mr. Six or Sotiris bought the one I wanted (grrr).

    4. Not sure your plans for Eidos, but can I push for one or two styles in the Tipo cut? I know that is more widely available so perhaps the NMWA angle would be distinctive fabrics chosen by an owner with impeccable taste? That guncheck that is almost sold out in the Lorenzo was just fantastic. Also, possibly group MTO?

Thanks, love the store. I learn more than I buy right now, but I hope to flip that soon.

Any thought to G&G rather than EG?

EG = Engineered Garments, not Edward Green

Nope, it's both. Actually, on this side more likely to be an Ed Green reference, over at SW&D, Engineered Garments.

I'm aware of that. I meant in regards to the discussion in this thread. Edward Green is clearly not headquartered a block from NMWA

Dries van Noten and Jil Sander are both really nice and have enough "safe" CM items, but I don't see either happening. Even MMM wouldn't be out of place, but yeah. Maybe Peir Wu?

Re: EG, I'm kinda (pleasantly) surprised they carry ts(s) and Niche already to begin with. Who knows, maybe Junya or CdG could compliment those two brands.

I don't want speak for Greg but I doubt it since we are in the process of developing a new model exclusively for NMWA (the only store we have and will do this BTW): A hybrid between The lorenzo and ciro but longer with fuller lapels, a darted chest, more closed quarters and lower buttoning point. It will also have a corresponding trouser based on our current pant but with a higher rise.
