Mine has been murlsquirl@ for 15+ years. I had a MBA professor tell me I should change it to first.last@ to be more professional.....no way.

Thanks. I'm wondering about whether I'll end up wanting to take in the body on my Formosa jacket a little. As I said before, I like my tailor, but I kind of don't want him to touch the jacket for what I think is an improvement only on the margin. Will wait and see.

Again, yours looks fantastic.

Oh, and I'm glad for the clarification on the lambswool jacket. Might have had to demand a recount if it were Schneider. On the other hand, the GRP looks pretty much perfect...

Do you mind sharing which tailor do you use? I have used a seamstress for hemming and whatnot but wouldn't trust her to do some major alterations. But I really don't feel like traveling to chicago downtown to the tailors people have raved about.

Wearing my Eidos Ulster today and it made me feel like telling this Nor'easter "come at me bro".

EDIT: This sounded better in my head. It's just a great coat (pun intended). And no I don't really talk like that. Nor do I typically have conversations with the weather. Carry on.

Tell him that when he dresses better than you he can perhaps have a say in your email address.

I actually told her that my employer didn't seem to mind and maybe if she changed her email to something fun I would consider hiring her....she knew I was joking and laughed.

I just walked outside. I don't recommend it. The sideways rain will have its way with that coat.

A-1 Tailor on Dempster Ave.

They've done a good job for me. Nothing too complicated, but they have taken in the body on a jacket or two and they shortened the sleeves on my Formosa jacket. They are definitely a full fledged tailor, not a cleaners with a sewing machine.

Oooh, time to pay the balance on Inis Meáin MTO sweaters.

...now to hurry up and wait a week for them to arrive.
