Also, we've been incredibly busy packing sale orders for you guys... so sorry about the absence in the thread.

But I don't see you guys posting your sale kops - or even better highlighting great sale finds on the site.

Just one day left for the Dapper Monday sale and then we're back to normal.

It is very versatile. There is one left in a 7--which I think would be just right for a normal Schneider 6. I am wearing a 6 in that picture, and I normally wear a Schneider 5.

    And hey! I've been here.

    UPS has been SLOW.

Does anyone have any fit pic of Sartoria Formosa Double Breasted suits in action? Always curious about how they look, and I don't think I have ever seen one in this thread.

A few Q's about the LBM overcoats: How to describe fit, beyond "very slim"? High (snug) armholes? If I'm Formosa 48 (between 48-50 in other makes) will I fit a 50, and be able to wear over a SC?

Do these measurements sound accurate for a 50?:

    Shoulder: 18.75"

    Pit to Pit: 21.75"~22"

    BOC(bottom of collar to hem) : 35.5"

    Sleeve : 25.5"

Am concerned medium grey donegal coat might be matchy/clashy (new coinage?) w/ light grey trews. Fit pics?

Looks like there's room to shorten sleeves in front of buttons (which I'm assuming aren't of the working kind).

Broke my buttero leather laces, does anyone know where I can get spares? other than from buttero because the shipping is 10 times (literally) the cost of the laces.

@AJL You'd want a 52 in the LBM coat IME.

If you want to fit a SC, definitely 52. I really doubt a 50 would work in this instance.

Wow, really? I'm not a very big guy: 5' 7", 150 lbs. But then, we're fairly similar size, if I remember correctly, so guessing you're right. These things must be pretty tiny.

I see. Are you an owner of one of these pieces (you own one of everything else, why not this? :p )

So w/o SC, might fit, with one no way, huh?

Hmm, I mean... you could always try the 50, and see which one you prefer?

    I took a 54, and I am a size 50 in Formosa. If I only intended to wear a lighter sweater underneath, I would take a 52.

    Dapper Monday personal kop list:

    IM pub jacket/sweater in brown
    Esemplare wine sweater
Portuguese Flannel in Estrela Prussian blue, yellow and cream

    Next on potential list...
    Rota in khaki twill
    Schneider Oxalis or Figaria

Gotcha. Well, I'd probably wear a heavier sweater or SC underneath, so sounds like 52 may be the way to go. Which narrows choice to brown/black hbone, which appears pretty dark, and the navy basketweave which I'd been eyeing for a while, though the fabric does remind me a bit of a fairly intense green coat my ex used to wear that I wasn't too crazy about...

On another note, howza fit on the Monitaly twill jeans? @Edouard?

    @AJL

    That's crazy. I'm also 5'7 @ 155, roughly 17.25" shoulders...and I consistently wear a 46/36S in most SCs (admittedly, none of the kind you're referring to). Maybe a 38 if it's cut super slim.

I think this ridiculous SF rain is pushing me toward that Mountain Parka. Ugh.

I keep looking at the navy basketweave LBM overcoat myself. I can't decide whether I like the texture or think it's a little too much.
