So the FC VIP thing was a joke. I thought that was pretty clear after answering that coupon stacking question five times in a few hours. I guess discounts is never something to joke about. Sorry.

How's New Peter last fit relative to F? I'm between 43 and 43.5 in F, for reference.

I would say 43. I know a few folks who have gone up a half size from P2 to F

I agree, toe box is much roomier in P2, as is the overall volume up front. If you are between 43 and 43.5 in F, I would go no higher than 43, and would even consider 42.5 if you have a low volume foot/ flat arches, as I do. I went down .5 size from F to P2, and still too much volume up front. I suspect P2 last is just not appropriate for my feet, though in fairness I've yet to try dropping down a full size.

Can anyone comment on the softness of the S&C Cardigan as compared to cashmere and/or merino? I have some general lambswool sweaters of much lesser quality that are great for layering but not something I would wear a short sleeved shirt under due to scratchiness. I reserve that for the finer wools. Would the lambswool on the cardigan be soft enough to wear a t-shirt under? Thanks in advance.

First rule of VIP club is that there is no VIP club. If there is someone's got some 'splainin' to do.

Vast majority of our customers wear the same size in F and P2

Well, I guess I'm the poster child for why one shouldn't sleep on pulling the trigger. All 4 Inis Meain I would have bought are out in my size, as are the 2 pairs of Vass I've wanted.

It's not scratchy, but it's also definitely not as soft as cashmere. But I would wear it over a t-shirt without hesitation. It just doesn't have that plush feeling of cashmere.

    Btw anybody considering this coat:

I liked it so much that I just bought it from another retailer since No Man is sold out in my size after I stupidly let it get to the site without buying one first (said retailer started out with a price significantly higher than No Man's, and the price is still higher than No Man's price). Completely awesome coat. The texture of the fabric is really distinctive, the color is really rich, and the combination of the color, duffle front, and collar, makes it a very versatile coat. Size up down though. I usually take a 52, and in this one I got a 50. No Man has 52 and 54 left.
