I agree with unbelragazzo that unlined gloves don't cut it when it is truly cold, that being said, coastal California seems like prime unlined glove terrain to me if that's where you intend to wear them primarily. Head up into the mountains or back east in the winter and you'll need something more.

I can recommend the shearling and peccary (not gray of course). They are sort of a combinations.

But you should really get those Merola roe deer ones in gray and call it a day.

Does the SF10 code not work on FC deals?

Like previous FC sales, we're leaving the option for FC members to either take advantage of the private sale prices (but with the final sale caveats), or log out and use SF10 by checking out as a guest (and have full return policy).

Well, I love them. SdC has a real talent with treating fabrics to get interesting textures out of them. In this case the wool has a crinkly look to it but has a very soft hand. Between the wool and the lining, these pants are also really warm. Definitely a winter pant - I think if I wore them above 50 degrees they'd be too hot.

Does anyone know if they further discount sales items on Black Friday? I'm torn between buying one of two items that are similarly price, or buying both if one of the items that is a sale item goes down further. Thanks very much.

There will be no further discounts. FC private sale for 4 days then we'll open up the sale to the general public on Monday for 2 days and then the sale will be over. We will probably run our typical end-of-season sale after the New Year, but clearly there won't be as much merchandise left

I didn't get a FC email. The most result in gmail for "Founders Circle" is from Aug. 1, but I received NMWA emails on Nov. 21 and Nov. 25.

Thanks very much, I was sure there wouldn't b e further discounts on the FC merchandise, but wasn't sure about whether or not merchandise already on sale would see a further discount due to Black Friday.
