Any opinions on the Sozzi OTC socks? I'm looking for something with staying power, I can't stand socks that fall down.

Wearing mine right now. I'm only a few wears in on my longest tenured pair, but I've had no fall-down issues.

I have two pair from last year that I just started wearing again recently.

I find they do not fall down, however they do tend to have a little extra fabric around the ankles compared to other wool OTC socks. It's not from the sock falling, it's just the fabric stretching throughout the day. It doesn't look terrible, I'll take a photo next time I wear them.

Also, be careful because they create a lot of static energy when worn with flannel!

Sorry, Murls, will have to wait a bit. Mine is in a container waiting to be shipped to Seoul next week, ETA mid December.

Can someone talk about these Vass right here:

    http://www.nomanwalksalone.com/index.php/footwear/shoes/galosh-oxford-captoe-brown-museum-calf.html

I have never owned Vass before and I am a pretty true to size 10D in US shoes. What size would I take in Vass? I also have heard Vass offers millions of lasts and so want to know feedback about this one (i.e wider toe box, shorter, longer, etc). I know Greg usually has the best of the best and I just want to make sure if I buy them I am making an informed decision.

    Thanks!

My next shoe must be a pair of Vass...they all look so beautiful.

    Good luck with your purchase!

Comparing to Carmina (I assume you're familiar having bought your ruby shell boots from B&S), I find Vass F-last in 43 to be somewhere in between Simpson and Forest in UK9.

I have a list of Vass that I intend to have MTO through NMWA. Among the last three probably need to narrow down to one or two. I'm business casual (includes jeans) outside of weddings and funerals so no oxfords here.

I'll spoiler the pics but if Greg decides to make any of these up for the shop that's cool too. :stirpot:

Green cotton twill Rota. The tailor skimped me on the cuffs....apparently the detailed note clipped to the pants wasn't enough.

The F last has a reasonably elongated and round toe. It's not particularly wide, nor is it particularly narrow (the U last is narrower in the toe box). If you tend to wear US10D, UK9E shoes, you would be a 43 in Vass F.

Seems like a stupid question, but I can't decipher the code on how to launder the niche sweatshirt. Anybody know? Thanks

    Another winner from Frank.

Great combo, Murl. I hope to have my green Rota back soon.
