There was one on B&S yesterday. Already gone?
Such a kickass jacket
Yeah, that was the one I slept on! I guess I was optimistic about how long I had, but I shouldn't be surprised about how quickly it went because it truly is an amazing piece.
I've been trying to think of another similarly priced wool coat that is as warm and has a nice sophisticated yet casual look, but it'd probably just be best to bide my time.
What's the fit like on the Monitaly raglan sweat shirts? Typical Japanese or TTS?
btw, just to share. i picked this up as part of a gift exchange...looks really cool in person (photos from the recipient):
Cant wait to get mine back from the tailor.
Yo Stitchy you rcoking the toggle today as well?
Nice! That looks badass!
Wearing my Casentino today. Unfortunately... it is a little bit big now, due to some lost weight. On the plus side, now I can fit a chunky knit / SC underneath.
^that's one of my favorite Drakes ties from this season. Might be even better w/ a light blue shirt.
Thanks and thanks to the other member who gave it to me as a gift
Noted blue would be a good option. The shirt choice was more a function of white was ironed.
Hey youze guize,
Howza fit on these? Same as flannels? Kickazz color? Was also considering green cords but have a hard time disassociating dorky/cords.
Speaking of cord, @gdl203 & @conceptual 4est Is the Niche paisley same fit as the No Tengo linen? I just find the body too full in the latter, and unfortunately cannot wear untucked w/o looking...dorky. Vertically challenged, blah blah. Cool looking shirt though.
What about some casual shirts that short guys can wear untucked + not have to alter sleeves? Mebbe I should start a thread for short guy resources/recs? You 6 ft-ers suk.
JL - just buy the shirts you like and have them shortened to the length you want. I cannot think of an alteration much easier to do and much harder to screw up than that.
Same answer if a shirt is slightly too blousy in the mid-section - it's a very easy and cheap alteration
Agree, great tie. Is this something one could wear year round due to its being hopsack, or would the weight make it suitable for colder conditions only?
I would only wear that tie in fall/winter personally. Not really because of the weight (I always find it weird when people talk about the weight of a tie...it's not doing anything to keep you warm really) but because of the material and color.
