G how long is the sale going through?
Two quick questions - when does the sale run to, and is NMWA open this week? Hoping to try some things on before I pull the trigger.

In other news, the search filter seems to be off. Looking under outerwear for Norwegian Rain items in a S, the Navy Moscow doesn't show up, despite there being a S left...
The sale ends tomorrow Tuesday. The office/showroom is not open for appointments, nor are we doing Thursday afternoon open doors this week. With limited staff, we’ll be focused on shipping out orders from the weekend and today/tomorrow.

noted re filter. Is this on the NR page or on the outerwear page, or both?

My experience has been that when you go to any specific maker page, and then filter for a specific size for that maker, the results include items from many different makers.

By now, many of you I'm sure have taken advantage of the reduced prices to grab something you've wanted (or start your gift shopping).

I'm always incredibly interested in what y'all have at the top of your list - please share your top picks from the sale ! Doesn't need to be something you did buy. Could be something you love but thing you cannot "pull off" - in which case, we'll use the full power of peer pressure to change your mind ?
I overslept on the Blurhms hoodie. :( I kept telling myself I'd get to it later, and then later became never.

But I did grab the two Bigi block stripe ties. I'm on a bit of a stripes kick recently, but here are the things that I particularly liked about these:
  • The colors are great. Blue and burgundy is classic. The brown and green are both nice shades that play well together, and that I think will be pretty versatile.
  • The thin stripe of a third color helps to break up the blocks so that there's a bit more visual interest.
  • The textured silk differentiates them from a typical reppe and gives them a visual element to play with against different suit and jacket fabrics.
I kind of wish they were untipped, but I know that's not Bigi's thing.

If you don't own any, treat yourself and get one or more flannel cotton Inglese shirts. The flannel fabrics are super comfortable but also look "smart" on their own or layered under knitwear. I especially like them under a cardigan where it shows off the pattern and colors.

So, the Byborre has landed. This thing is really awesome. Wearing it out to grab some groceries in this cool weather with a blurhms sweatshirt underneath. While pricy, the jacket really uses top notch Gore-Tex, all the zippers are bonded, and it’s otherwise just super fun. Jacket and pants are articulated and really comfortable. Finally, the patches make it really easy to work in some color. A quick and dirty pic with a better pic to come:

I am taking a medium in the jacket and the pants.

Thanks, guys. It is warm, but not scorching, since the chest is insulated the most and the arms are not overly insulated.

Earlier, some compared it to the Minotaur rain jacket - and it definitely is not that tricky to work in. Honestly, it looks pretty awesome with a sweatshirt and jeans in my view. The colors aren't as aggressive as they appear on the website. Appears to be something that will be easy to grab on a chilly morning, and a cool alternative to my puffer jackets. Very impressed with the construction, which appears to be top notch. The pants are also really nice.

Overall, it is nice to have something that is completely off the wall for me that I am still able to work into my wardrobe.
