Was there a NR pre-order for these models? If so, I really should have gotten the pilot jacket in that mixed indigo color...

Sorry for the late reply..

I went with a 5, which I think corresponds to Large.. Kyle recommended a 4 might be okay but that would've been too tight IMO.

I'm about 5'11 185. The A1 fits like a great sweater. Not tight, but not like loose outwear either.. Hope this helps.

No problem, thanks for getting back. How is fit in the shoulders? Mind posting a fit pic?

Sure, apologies for the iPhone selfie. Rota brown wool flannels also. I love em. Slight pocket flare but not a big deal to me.. Hope it helps. Love the GRP.

That GRP A1 looks great. Makes me happy I finally pulled the trigger on the last green one in my size. Resistance was futile once the venerable @Murlsquirl said it was his favorite NMWA piece.

If it were me I'd rather answer a few questions than have to eat a bunch of shipping costs, but I don't run the store so ymmv.

Also buying items just to try them on or buying multiple sizes is sort of a dick move on a limited stock item -- it prevents other people who are sure they want it and/or know their size from purchasing it, and it leaves the shop with inventory hanging out there in limbo.

No it's not. As a matter of fact NMWA doesn't have a problem with it.

Well... buying two sizes if there's just no way you can figure out the right size, even with our help, that's OK with me. But "buying items just to try them on" when we pay shipping both ways, packaging materials, etc... yeah that is kind of a dick move.

So I'm all for sizing questions and people (including us) providing sizing advice in the thread, via email or phone. Better get the right size the first time - no one likes packing stuff and shipping it back any way, right?
