I just did this an IM linen/cotton cardigan, and it deformed slightly so the line of the buttons pulls to the right. I am hoping it evens out with wear but…?
If you soak the cardigan in water and roll out most of the water by rolling the cardigan in a towel, you should be able to reshape the damp garment on a flat surface. Let it dry and you should be good to go.

Do you handle the wool ones differently?

Wear undershirts, especially sweat blockers (e.g. GIIN and Thompson Tees), and air out. Haven't had any issues with my cold weather IMs. If I had a stain, I may try the machine, handwashing, or even dare the cleaners...

Frozen selfie in Alexandria, VA. At least the Traveler is keeping most of me warm.

If I end up trying to put it through the washer I’ll report back. I was at a friends house for dinner last night while he cooked, and the Uber driver after commented that my wife and I smelled like onions…

Air it out and the smell will be gone.

What Greg said. If it’s just smell from cooking, you can air it out. No need to wash it.

I also use this from time to time.

Greg, did you all carry the Eidos shearling/suede coat from the Correspondent collection in '15, I think was the year?

we did not. When we carried Eidos, we only bought tailoring.

They’re great. I’ve got three, need a few more colors

These and the Inis ones I have singlehandedly convinced me I could wear beanies again haha I was thinking of grabbing that yellow color.

Are the S&C as thick or thinner than the IMs? I personally like the thickness of the GRP and IM hats, but haven’t tried the S&C yet. I generally don’t like beanies than are on the thinner side.
