No side pockets on this guy, just the chest pockets and interior.

Interested in the Frank Leder 1.5 breasted onyx coat. What size should I take usually being a 52R? Can you layer a sweater underneath? What about jacket? Does this coat have particular high arm holes? I'm traveling to Barcelona for the holidays but it doesn't really get colder than mid-40s if that in the evening so I'm looking for something stylish to travel with and use to layer that will keep me warm enough but doesn't warrant my Chicago winter coats.
