I recall somebody here looking for places to send a suede Valstar jacket to be repaired back in the fall or winter and being really happy with the results they got from some place in NYC.

Does anybody remember that and have the name of the place? I noticed a big rip along the seam of my Clint this afternoon and want to get that taken care of.
Leather Spa NYC. I went with them because they made shipping the jacket to them simple. I paid up front for an insured UPS label which covered the cost to and from them ($60 I believe). They try and sell you on the expedited service option for an additional fee. I’m not sure that is needed but I paid for it anyway. They sent a quote about a week after I mailed it out. The whole process took maybe three weeks. You can check the status on their website as well which is nice. I was happy with the experience overall.

Without A Trace in Chicago is top notch. Expensive but worth it.

Think more for spring and summer. I’d say it’s possible to wear in fall/winter but not for pure function as it won’t keep you super warm but I do find uses to add interest in solid to your outfit. Lightweight scarves can offer some neck protection if wrapped right but again not super warm.
You can see uses here for other brands of similar weights. Excited for Pentacles to add to my collection.

Thanks! Very cool and stylish
It's a very lightweight fabric and suitable for spring/summer as well
Very nice, thank you. I think true problem is deciding on color of scarf to buy :)
