When does Tony preorder close tomorrow? I have a khaki barn coat coming in today but won’t be home until tomorrow. Want to see what it looks like and am debating whether I like the pine color better.

@tailoredtech - I’ve found Tony to be extremely consistent in sizing. I have several XL shirts and over shirts and they all fit the same (with a bit of variance for the style of shirt, of course - a western will be slimmer cut than a summer camp shirt). Went XL here too. I’d say that’s true to size for me.

I apologize if I missed this before, but do you know anything about the navy duck fabric? I'm hesitant about the "water resistant" aspect of it, but I'm otherwise kind of feeling the navy idea.

I don't know what it's been specifically treated with but it's just a water resistant coating over their standard 10oz duck fabric that the other jackets have been made in. It seems to wear the same but it does have a slightly different finish that you can make out in the pictures. It's just somewhat water repellant, the way a waxed cotton would be.

In all honestly it we picked it for two reasons: it seemed like a fun take on that jacket, and the navy WR fabric has a cooler, almost steel-blue color to it that we liked a lot more than the standard, more saturated navy swatch.

Yup same 100% cotton fabric but treated with DWR (durable water repellent) at the finishing stage. You can Google it if you want to know more about DWR

Wish Valstar made an S/S suede western shirt jacket... the closest I've found is RRL.

Thanks, guys! I'll pull the trigger. I definitely agree, I like the look of that particular navy for this barn jacket style
