So, I feel uniquely qualified to address this.

You definitely do not need it. I question myself sometimes on the wisdom of two Travelers. But they are different enough, and I know if I ever lost one or stained it or had moth holes I would have an extra and there is no guaranty this jacket will be available in perpetuity.

I think I could do two if they were different enough. Like a dark and a light. I don’t think the green is enough of a contrast though. I was originally looking for a camel/beige coat and wish that was available last year. Might still pull the trigger and then let go of my Green. Maybe then you’ll still get your commission!

So I have two. Navy and brown. I love wearing monotone outfits 90% of the time so I feel justified in it. However if I had gotten navy first I probably wouldn’t have gotten a brown. Someone had happened to return the navy and I snagged the re stock. I just like this coat so damm
Much.

Gonna grab the gray one. Technically my third one, but I got too fat for the other two, so I'm going to try and sell those.

I'm assuming sizing is pretty much the same? I guess I could also wait til the actual preorder opens up.

Who here has the Wythe Bedford Cords? The advice was to size down one, right? Or go TTS? They seem a size big based on the measurements. Anyone with some fit pics?

fitpics below. You can size down for a snug waist but you don't necessarily have to. what you see in the pics are a size 30, and the waist on them is just a little beyond 32" once they're stretched out. I would also buy 28 if they made a size 28, but at size 30, i have access to stuff in my pockets while seated, and I have a full range of motion, making them the easiest-wearing pants i own. and the fabic is cool.

Both are size 40 and one is smoky green, one is the grey glen plaid. Both are incredible. They're just a little tight in the shoulders which is definitely not what I want from my traveler. My normal size is 42, so I don't really know why I sized down.

Well, I think I'm getting gray so I can wear it as formal as needed, but sizing is still a question. Anyone 5'9" who wears a 42 in the KS Traveler can comment on the length? I'm 155-160, 42R w/ a 10" drop (broad chest, not crazy jacked). The SdC trench in L felt like an appropriate length for me and I could wear it comfortably over a sportcoat. Should I go TTS?

@gdl203 Slightly lighter weight but still that stiff and rigid fabric everyone loves, right? I returned the SdC because I was worried it would be too light for my one winter coat (and last week's ice storm in Houston would have confirmed that theory).

Others may have a different view, but I would consider sizing down. These are quite roomy. I’m 5’9”, 170 lbs, with a 41 inch chest (and a similarly significant drop), and I wear a 38. I can comfortably wear a thick sweater underneath. Sleeve length is near perfect and the coat length hits the knees. Good luck.

Thanks. Any other data points?
