What's the sizing on the S&C cashmere cable knit like? Is it stretchy and a fairly straight fit? I'm not sure if the M or L makes more sense. The M has a chest size (I'm 39" chest, and usually go for a 42-43" P2P for knitwear that is designed to fit neither loose nor tight) that would work well for me, but it seems a lot shorter than the L. I'm 5'10" with about as average a build as you could imagine. Most of my knitwear is at least 26" BOC, and rarely beyond 27.5". Any ideas? @gdl203 or anyone else?

FWIW I love the fit of 42" william lockie lambswool sweaters and 44" in their chirnside cashmere.

I'd say it is TTS but with an easy fit, I usually take small in WL cashmere and have small in S&C cableneck as well.

Great pickups!

@gdl203 - had a question about this SDC jacket. The title says black, but the description says tonal shades of green. Is it both or just black? Thanks!
We have a green colorway and a black one. The black one is black so any reference to green would be a copy/paste error

Looks like the question was actually about the cashmere cable knit...

D’oh! Thread is moving fast and I misseread, thanks LatAm.
Ok, I can still answer, I have the S&C cable and found it TTS, (again, I’m a 42,) large is comfy. It is just slightly shorter than a similar piece from Lockie, but I think it works better (the S&C) with the slightly shorter length.

I am 5’9”

I'm a 40R and got a medium, so we'll see. The shortness worries me though (being 5'10").

Given the ol' Doppiaa western a go. We shall see. Also picked up my dad an SC cardigan for Christmas. He sold his place in Florida because of 'rona and he's depressed about the prospect of spending the winter in Canada. Should keep him warm!

Ha, yes, I get a call every couple of days to report the weather in Edmonton now that covid has forced my Dad to sell his place in Phoenix. Perhaps a sweater would make these calls less frequent...
