My only issue with the pieces from Desert Phantom is how unwieldy they all get once the wrinkles set in. Especially with the flight strips on the bomber. Once they got rumpled the jacket hangs outward and it gets a bit harder to dress it up as no cleaner near me wants to touch it.

@blacklight the nylon-looking strips that are on each side of the zipper? I hadn't noticed any rumpling in mine; but the whole jacket has been pretty loose and dangly from day 1, so any sort of way it hangs, i just go with it

Yeah. Granted I’ve folded mine for transport a couple times but it’s such an annoying little thing that I’ve been tempted to make the thousand dollar mistake of attempting to iron it. Received a bunch of compliments on it at the MoMa this week and the entire time couldn’t help but fuss over the wrinkles like a madman. Absolutely phenomenal piece though. Been constantly on the lookout for others like it. Looks great on you.

Same one. If I can find a similar nylon elsewhere in my closet I might give it a go on that before testing my luck. If all else fails I might just reach out to Abasi on IG.
