This might be preaching to the choir in this thread, but seeing as how @gdl203 is showcasing how hard he wears his castaner loafspadrilles, I'll put the plug in for em as well.

I've been consistently impressed with how easily-maintained these shoes have proven to be. I've trudged through beach sand, boardwalks, boatdecks, and backyards with them and a quick scrub always brings em right back.

Only yesterday I wore them up to the Russian River and while I don't have a "before" shot, please trust me when I say I was worried for them at the end of the day - mud-caked, river water stained, and then stuffed in a tote bag with wet clothes and swim suits for a few hours.

But, a little scrub with some soapy water and a bristle brush and they're looking great again.
