Thanks! You, amongst many others have guided my way.I think the NMWA guys can attest - I’ve just been lying in wait. Placed a good sized order, to put it mildly, after receiving good news from my work and my wife’s work.
I just wanted to say I’m proud of you. You are a worthy heir.
Did we call it water repellent? I don’t think the VBC wool/linen is water repellent. It feels like a nice jacketing fabric.

Day-um, shots fired!

What did you pickup?
I’m sorry that may be a mistake on our part. The 60/40 is water resistant but I don’t think the wool linen isI didn’t see water repellent anywhere on the jacket, but it is the first bullet point on the product page.
Leder weather
Awesome mix. I’m very interested in how the painters jacket looks on. I was waiting on the DBF Ghurkas but my size sold out.Honestly, a mix of everything. Some stuff from DBF (inc. painters jacket) and Blurhms, then one item from each of Castaner, Aurland, Tony, Document, and Kuon. Frankly, without measurements, we will see what does and does not fit - there may be some stuff that does not work or is too much for me.
Sent my wooden sleepers shacket back, which made me sad.
