i still wait for my episodic east coast trips, but going to try gassane tailors on anderson ln for some basic hem/waist work on stoffa trous later this month.
Gassanne is reliable. I'd recommend Austin Alterations. The daughter handles alterations and the mom does bespoke. Great work.

How do the Fujito caps fit compared to the Found Feather and others? Are they normal sized crowns or are they more dad-cap style small crowns?

Just received a Found Feather cap in the larger size but unfortunately it is super tight. When I take it off, there is a crease on my forehead from wearing it for a couple of minutes. Does it stretch over time or should I return it?

Is it uncomfortable? I have plenty of caps that fit properly but leave an intention in my forehead when I wear them. The only way to judge too small is comfort

Yes, very. It doesn't look small on my head, I like how it looks, but I was trying to wear it for about 10 minutes recently and my head started to hurt. Maybe it will stretch and become more comfortable, but not sure (not a small price tag as well, paid $85, including shipping)

Nah I wouldn’t bother if it’s painful.

How much do the TSS turts shrink in the washing machine? Mine is due for one but it fits kind of perfect and I am wary

I bought one of the TSS washable wool turtles 2nd hand and it's a size big for me. I washed it and tumble dried it, hoping to shrink it, but it barely shrank. I don't know if the previous owner ever washed and dried it though.

Yup, the wool jersey. I see the care tag actually says hand wash only so I was hesitant

I machine wash them gentle cycle and hang dry on a shaped hanger (like a No Man one) and haven't seen any shrinkage nor damage. They hold up well.
