I'm also interested in the reasoning but I don't think you need the reasoning to see the FW24 lookbook plays into NMWA's general bent towards clothes that emphasize silhouette, drape, and what-is-offbeat. It struck me as a great way to highlight what is feminine and a little bit transgressive in the NMWA stock.Saw the Lookbook. Serious question, what was the thinking behind having only a woman wear/model all of the clothes?
I have one of Kirby Allison’s long coat bags, really nice and well made. I have a kaptain sunshine Walker coat in it.if you ever make extra long bags for coats it would be great. I tested the valstar redford and kaptain sunshine traveller in 38 and they get squished at the bottom of the bag

anecdote: my wife (who has never bought a Nice Garment except second-hand and who is firmly femme in how she dresses) nearly bought the avocado green crewneck Inis Meain sweater from the lookbook. Sticker shock barely stopped her. Frankly I think she'll bite by Christmas. We've had a number of loyal female customers over the years, and increasingly so, and we've noticed the way they've styled our clothes on social media (Kiyana is a frequent fit poster for example: https://www.instagram.com/kiyanaknits/). So we thought: why not?
When I look at the fits that Willy styled for this look book, with a couple of exceptions (skirt, belted waist), I feel that the combinations of materials, colors, textures are genderless and give just the same inspiration and ideas as if they were on a male model.
Sounds like someone was given a pretty pretty pretty good holiday gift idea here... 😉anecdote: my wife (who has never bought a Nice Garment except second-hand and who is firmly femme in how she dresses) nearly bought the Inis Meain sweater from the lookbook. Same, my wife borrows my clothes all the time. And she still complains that we wear different shoe sizes lol, otherwise my Aldens would be stolen as well.My wife has a good amount of nmwa in her closet due to me shrinking tops in the wash or being too optimistic on pants sizing and she wears them as much as any of her other items. In the modern wardrobe just about any mens item can be unisex.
