I like the gun clubs of course, but the green-brown hopsack is also so pretty.

Between the two gun clubs, I’d say take a look at the colors you wear the most and if you tend to wear mostly blues and greys and black shoes, go for the silver one. If you tend to wear fall colors, browns and greens, then go for the almond version. You will be able to style those in a million different ways

Very helpful. Thanks!

Thanks for offering these preorders. They look wonderful.

I'm trying to gauge which trouser size to choose based on the waist measurements, being in between a size 50 and size 52. What's the best way to understand the waist measurements? For instance, if I generally purchase pants with a 35" waist, is the size 50 better in that it can be let out .7" to 35" by adjusting the side tab, or is the size 52 better in that it can be tightened 1.1" to 35" by adjusting the side tab?

The waist sizes are with side tabs open so you would not get any additional room out of the sz 50 without having a tailor let that waist out. I would always recommend sizing up if in-between or unsure. The leg of our standard trousers is not that wide so sizing up is a comfortable approach

@gdl203 (or anybody from the NMWA crew) do the chore jackets have an interior pocket? The answer either way is not going to stop me from ordering the orange casentino one, but I'm just curious.

FW24 Tailoring Capsule

Sport coat in Almond, Tawny Brown & Azure gun club wool

"I would argue that gun club sport coats are more fundamental to a man's closet than even navy blazers (fight me if you dare to disagree!). But there are good gun clubs and a lot of mid ones, let's be honest. This limited edition cloth is one of the GOOD ones. The mix of cool and warm color yarns makes it nearly impossible to style badly."---Greg

"Designed for understated dressing, with British heritage in its ‘roots’. This quintessential cloth can be perfectly worn in every setting, whether that’s at home, in the city or even around the country. Fox Sports Jacketing is expertly crafted to ‘keep in’ with new traditions of relaxed elegance, to create both a timeless and ageless ‘classic’."---Fox Brothers

Any chance this will come to the EU store or is this a US exclusive?

The silver/blue/copper gun club is giving me Delfino Formosa vibes.
Very much so, and why I knew it would make a great jacket when I saw the swatch. The hand is very different, of course, as the Delfino was very soft and flannely vs this being harder and closer to a tweed

The logistical process of pre-orders with Carrara makes it difficult because (a) Carrara sends us the whole order and we allocate to customers, and (b) our EU fulfillment partner requires products that are integrated into their system and barcoded, which is quite complex to do with individual orders like this.
