Speaking of, had to snack the cotton turtleneck in blue.

Document_Made_in_Korea_Fall_Winter_2024_FW24_Pleated_velvet_denim_trousers_in_deep_navy_cotton...jpg

Finishing up with trousers, this is how the velvet denim ones look up close. I'd love to see these broken in!

And these as well - Japanese denim with a gold colored weft that plays nicely with a lot of the rest of the collection. (Seen above with the rust shacket)

Document_Made_in_Korea_Fall_Winter_2024_FW24_Straight_fit_selvedge_jeans_in_light_wash_cotton_...jpg

We picked up a heavily washed selvedge option as well, something we've all been wearing a lot more of lately.

In the same Moon wool flannel we grabbed some pleated easy pants to either complete the set or just have as a super comfy cold-weather option.

And keeping things cozy are some cream colored double pleated corduroys, seen expertly styled with the mint knit above. Perfect!

Couple quick updates on this week:
1) no EA - we’ve been jammed with the short week and won’t have time to have it all measured and up for today - drop is tomorrow and we’ll try our best to have it in the EA section a couple hours before general release
2) we’re hoping to also have the fall/winter tailoring preorders up on the site tomorrow or at the latest Monday. We’ll turn the preorders around pretty quickly (generally customers don’t need that much time to know if and what they’d want) so we can place the order for fabric asap and get production going for a November delivery.
EA is up on the app - will take a little longer for the site to re-index and show everything

Dang, Document bringing the 🔥 to keep us warm all winter. I'm in between sizes and am tempted to size down on an overshirt. But they look so good slightly oversized... Maybe I should go up.

Edit: grabbed this one in L.

Yeah I got nervous when Kenshawn said you could size down, but I went TTS. Fingers crossed!

FW24 Ikiji easy suit is out of this world. I'm wearing a M here. Arms need to be shortened about 1" and the trouser cuffs might need to come up a bit, but I have stubby tyrannosaurus arms and shortish legs, so that's normal. Couldn't be happier.

(who wouldn't look good with these two charmers?)

5'7", 130 pounds; Ikiji FW24 easy suit, Ikiji FW23 (?) jersey wool turtleneck, La Botte Gardianne side-zip boots that are showing clear evidence of transitional season yardwork, don't @ me

@Hierophantic, it's hard to tell with all the dog lifting and petting, but in those pics it doesn't seem like the arms need to be shortened imo
Appreciate the thoughtful feedback! I think the dogs and the turtleneck (which has longish sleeves) are pulling one over; the sleeves at rest fall right around my first thumb joint.

FW24 Tailoring Capsule

Here we go... we'll keep those up for the rest of the week and collate orders on Sunday/Monday so we can get fabric orders placed and try to ensure a mid-November delivery

As always, PREORDER15 for your 15% pre-order discount.

This Fall/Winter is heavily dedicated to the awesomeness of Fox Brothers, with a variety of cloth options from their best fabrics and also from their deadstock vault. Many are limited and we indicated how many units can be tailored - which means that we may need to cancel pre-orders that were placed after we reached that max number

Suit Separates in Char-Navy sharkskin worsted wool
"Fox may be world-renowned for its flannels and jacketing, but their worsted wools are truly second to none. The heft, weave and beautiful desaturated navy color makes this a true staple suit. The London Shrunk finish makes it a suit you'll be wearing often with little maintenance."---Greg

"The worsted cloth was popular in the 1930s, Fox Brothers have re-developed this to become the sleek quality that we see today. This is achieved with the famous London Shrunk finish: the folding of cloth with moist heat, the drying of the cloth in precise conditions, and an even steam of the cloth all determine the excellence of this finish. The fabric is unstrained throughout finishing and forms well with a permanence that will not be altered during the tailoring process and steam pressing."---Fox Brothers

Suit Separates in Feather Blue-Grey Melange worsted flannel

"Sometimes, in life, we learn things from people in position of authority, and we realize later that it was all hogwash. One of the dumbest things I ever learned on menswear forums was that flannel shall always be woolen and that worsted flannel was useless. Once I got my first Fox worsted flannel suit and started wearing it all the time, I unlearned that and realized how good this fabric is. Less stuffy and hot-wearing as a heavy woolen, but with a matt finish that cannot be found in classic worsteds, it became my goldilocks fabric for fall winter suits. Especially for suits that are less conservative. TLDR: worsted flannel is actually great; try it."---Greg

"Our Worsted Flannel are woven with yarns spun from long combed wool fibres, which produce smooth flannels. Plain fabric with an abundance of texture & depth. Can be worn as a full suit or perfectly broken into separate garments. It is an easy pairing for any formal or casual outfit."---Fox Brothers

Sport coat in Almond, Tawny Brown & Azure gun club wool

"I would argue that gun club sport coats are more fundamental to a man's closet than even navy blazers (fight me if you dare to disagree!). But there are good gun clubs and a lot of mid ones, let's be honest. This limited edition cloth is one of the GOOD ones. The mix of cool and warm color yarns makes it nearly impossible to style badly."---Greg

"Designed for understated dressing, with British heritage in its ‘roots’. This quintessential cloth can be perfectly worn in every setting, whether that’s at home, in the city or even around the country. Fox Sports Jacketing is expertly crafted to ‘keep in’ with new traditions of relaxed elegance, to create both a timeless and ageless ‘classic’."---Fox Brothers

Sport coat in Brown tonal glenplaid lambswool flannel

"Low-contrast glenplaid fabrics are a top choice for versatility and personality. The use of only two dominant colors without overcheck makes it chic and easy to wear as an everyday jacket or for events. The mixed yarns in this heavy flannel gives it a beautiful complex finish"---Greg

"Flannel jacketing quality has the visual and depth of a true tweed but with the handle of our subtle flannel quality. Using solid and mélange yarns. Notes of browns and greens would make it an easy pairing jacket."---Fox Brothers

Sport coat in Old Silver, Naval Blue & Copper gun club wool

"I would argue that gun club sport coats are more fundamental to a man's closet than even navy blazers (fight me if you dare to disagree!). But there are good gun clubs and a lot of mid ones, let's be honest. This limited edition cloth is one of the GOOD ones. The mix of cool and warm color yarns makes it nearly impossible to style badly."---Greg

"This heavier mid weight jacketing cloth woven with wool, provides a delicate and dry hand feel, making an exceptional choice for a sports coat."---Fox Brothers

Sport coat in Walnut & Olive basketweave merino wool

"I'm a sucker for beautiful in between colors AND for basketweave hopsack textures. This limited edition fabric has both so it was a no brainer. The color between green and brown will look perfect styled across the formality spectrum."---Greg

"Using a slightly thicker yarn for a more visible mock-leno basketweave, gives depth and texture. The weave structure is such that it is open and breathable, which makes it a great choice in these warmer months with incredible crease recovery."---Fox Brothers

Chore jacket in deadstock Cream Brown and Green glenplaid wool flannel
"Always looking for ways to blend exceptional fabrics and tailoring expertise into garments beyond classic sport coats and suits, we really do enjoy seeing chore coats made up in luscious jacketing fabrics. This Fox flannel one lends itself particularly well to pairing with washed jeans and an oxford shirt or white tee. Casual does not have to be without luxe."---Greg

"A lighter weight option for those in warmer locales or who prefer layering, this field jacket is cut of an uber-chic deep brown high-twist wool fabric. Pair it with pleated slacks and a sweater for a chic look, or just as easy with jeans."---Greg
