Measured from bottom of waistband, not top

Greg, new Rota's look very cool.

At some point, it would be very cool to see the original higher rise, beltless version and the two "NYC" versions side by side on someone from the office, robotic fit pics to focus on shape, drape, line etc.

Is there a difference in the butterscotch suede from the winter (lined) and the spring (unlined)? On my screen the spring version looks a little lighter.

The new Rota seersucker easy pants are going to be ideal for my climate. Love both colors.

NMWA / @gdl203 - to confirm the advice is to size up for the Rota easy pants? For other vendors (Camoshita, Doppiaa) I needed to size down to compensate for the waist getting too loose, especially when carrying a phone. Thanks.

Yes the whole shape and leg fits small, clearly a full size smaller than the regular Rota fit. Even one size up was a slim trouser on me.

I haven’t had a chance to watch the stream yet, but looking at Virtusize yesterday it seemed like I would have to go up 2 to get the necessary thigh width.

The new Rota Manhattan looks awesome, any plans for MTOs? A heavy brown moleskin in these would be killer!
Yep. Manhattan and Brooklyn are now both in our MTO/MTM arsenal. They can be made up in any of the fabrics that Rota offers, with any usual modifications and details (hem, fly, button and lining choices, etc…). I can think of a dozen amazing fall/winter fabric combos for these new shapes (corduroy, moleskin, flannel, tweed). I think the shapes and more casual nature also lend themselves to patterned fabrics much more than business/ biz cas makeups (a subtle glen plaid or check, a banker stripe, herringbones). They look great with a solid sweater on top and a coat, or a simple chore jacket.

For those of us who don't know, how do we initiate an MTO?

If you are doing this remotely, the first step is to try on the style you want to custom-order. Everything in the MTM/MTO process is based on the standard pattern/fit. You can then evaluate what changes you may need (seat +2cm, outseam 100cm, etc…) and pick a fabric and details (buttons, lining, cuffs, fly type)

Remotely, the biggest challenge is picking a fabric but if you know what you want (e.g. tan linen, chocolate corduroy, navy 4-ply wool), it makes that much easier.

Is there a minimum?
