I waited too long on the chambray. Ended up picking up the Oxford as a consolation. Hoping for a size large restock

🍎 and 🍊

Not really—sawtooth/pinking shears–like trim on paraboot, plus a diagonal side seam. Heschung is a bit more streamlined. Some people say heschung quality is a bit nicer, some people say no.

Paraboot have a tag on the side that says Paraboot? Honestly they’re very similar shoes. Both use their own custom soles so one may prefer one vs the other. Small details like the side stitch. Some of the Heschung leathers are IMO superior to what I’ve seen from Paraboot but I’m no expert. The Suportlo veg tan leather in particular is nicer than the Paraboot veg tan leather. The other regular calf leathers are pretty similar though

Greg, if you wouldn't mind, what size would you wear in the Merz B 346 sweatshirt?

Can someone elaborate on the Heschung Thuyas vs the paraboots?
I have few pairs of Paras and they've been an indestructible wardrobe staple for me. I love em but if I didn't have them I'd have gotten similar styles from Heschung. Can't go wrong with either.

To my ere, the Paraboot Michael’s have a more aggressively curved apron than the thuyas.

I think everybody is overlooking the biggest difference between the Paraboot Michael and the Heschung Thuya: the Michael is actually easy to find these days!

(that said, I see the recent Thuya restock included my size…)

Edit: Ok. Curiosity got the better of me and I ordered the Thuyas. We’ll see how they compare to my Michaels that I’ve worn into the ground the past couple years.

The one thing I’ll say about my Thuyas is they are exceedingly sturdy. Probably top three most worn shoes for the past 5 years, and they show zero signs of deteriorating. I think they will outlive me.
