New guy at NMWA AFAIK

I’ve been having a real Byborre moment as well.

Looks good and like a lot of fun Newc! Good choice.

Thanks, guys. It is warm, but not scorching, since the chest is insulated the most and the arms are not overly insulated.

Earlier, some compared it to the Minotaur rain jacket - and it definitely is not that tricky to work in. Honestly, it looks pretty awesome with a sweatshirt and jeans in my view. The colors aren't as aggressive as they appear on the website. Appears to be something that will be easy to grab on a chilly morning, and a cool alternative to my puffer jackets. Very impressed with the construction, which appears to be top notch. The pants are also really nice.

Overall, it is nice to have something that is completely off the wall for me that I am still able to work into my wardrobe.
What's the maximum waist (roughly) on the pants?

The sale ends tomorrow Tuesday. The office/showroom is not open for appointments, nor are we doing Thursday afternoon open doors this week. With limited staff, we’ll be focused on shipping out orders from the weekend and today/tomorrow.

noted re filter. Is this on the NR page or on the outerwear page, or both?
Both, the filters always seem to be hit or miss but seems to be worse lately.

If anybody picked up the Byborre Gortex in S and it doesn't work, I know somebody who is interested. :)

General question regarding gloves: do the 7.5, 8.5, 9.5 sizes correspond to S, M, and L?

I assume that's the circumference of the largest part of the hand?
Measure both circumference and length (base to tip of middle finger) and pick the largest number. 23 cm = 9". You're probably a 9 in Merola and 8.5 in Dents (their reference size for Medium).

I would not recommend to stretch gloves that are too small - it always ends with cracked stitching. With unlined gloves, you can go a bit snug but if lined gloves are too small, the lining will tear or crack

Few things are more idiosyncratic as hands and glove sizes. Every hand has different proportions between width and length of the different fingers. Seeking a perfect fit in the palm and every finger is futile and completely unnecessary.

I wish all gloves came in S, M, L, XL so it would lift the weight of an illusory "perfect fit" off our shoulders.

Team any expected timelines for Carrara and Rota trunk show turnarounds? Was going to send an e-mail but figured others may be curious as well. Thanks.

I think we were quoting 8-10 weeks from receipt of cloth for the NoMan x SC trunk show and 6-8 weeks for the Rota trunk show. I believe a first batch of the MTM orders are on their way from Carrara to us right now

Just want to shout out Greg and the NMWA crew for their generous contribution to the StyleForum Charity Auction this year. For those interested, check out the auction, the pot is pretty sweet:

Grabbed a tobacco suede Farnese belt before the sale ended. I don’t think I’ve ever owned a suede belt before
