I'd prefer the 48 for a slightly slouchier fit although the 46 did fit me.

Reassuring to hear you say that, as I went with 50 rather than 48, and I know I typically wear at least one size bigger than you (yeah, I'm not the big dude you pictured based on my sizing preferences; I tend toward the slouchy side I guess).
