Rains passed through and now sun came out here in DC and it’s a beautiful day. Heading out with DBF linen shorts that arrived on Friday. Excellent relaxed fit and TTS. I have the white hiking pants at my tailor. Ended up with my normal 52 after trying the 54. Needed to bring in the waist and seat just a hair.

Nice. The sun in DC is no joke. Ended up with a sunburn the other day from walking around national mall ?

Sounds like you, Secret Sauce Spouse, and all the little Condiment Packets had a good time!

We did. Really enjoyed it despite all the museum closures. We all failed our missions at the Spy Museum, which stung a bit.

So I may move from the northeast to the greater Los Angeles area, and although everything else is good I feel sad that I can’t wear any cold weather or rain gear. Is there any place that I could live around the greater Los Angeles area that might give me a chance to still make use of my awesome NMWA coats and jackets for rain/cold weather?
You’ll find plenty of LA folk wear heavy winter wear when in dips into the 50s and 60s. Just look at various IG fits around that time. Otherwise, I say live along the coast where the marine layer keeps us cool year round, and you’ll quickly forget about winter wear when it’s the 70s mid-January.

I love my thuyas. I’ve worn mine quite a lot since I bought them two years ago, and put them through some harsh trials (dirt, rain, hiking etc). Put on some fat when they dry out and they come back to life.

while Greg dazzles us with his fun rooftop shoot, I thought I will share a project I recently did with Tony

bought this FL shirt in FW, absolutely loved the fabric but the silhouette of the shirt did not work for me, so I reached out to @Tony The Shirtmaker to see if he could make a trucker out of it and he was up for it, full of enthusiasm and the end product speaks for itself.

One of the cooler things I've seen on this thread.

Wow, those Document trousers look great on you, the measurements looked small but they seem to fit you really well.
They were a bit tight at the waist, to be fair.
