  • Epaulet x Styleforum Alpine Loden Collection

Loden wool, woven in Tirol for centuries, is known for its resistance to cold and wetness. Our project in collaboration with Epaulet introduces Alpine Loden, a modern 18oz fabric blend of 75% merino wool and 25% nylon, woven in Italy. It's lighter, more durable, wind-resistant, and more comfortable than traditional Loden fabric. Partnering with Rochester Tailored Clothing, we offer custom garments like sportcoats, suits, and overcoats, made to your specifications. Learn more about the Loden collection here.

Can a tailor add lapel buttonholes

Hello, I was looking at some of my family members and I's older suits and I noticed some don't have a buttonhole on the lapel for boutonnieres, lapel pins, etc. Is this something a tailor can do or is it too much of a hassle? I can just wear another suit with one if I really want to wear an...

    Altering sleeves with working buttonholes

If there is a suit with sleeves already with working buttonholes, would it be possible anyway to alter/shorten the sleeve? without making the buttons look too close to the edge? This is one aspect against having rtw suits with working buttonhole sleeves.

The shoulders needed to be brought in a pinch, the sleeves shortened, and the length chopped a bit. Just so you...

    Tailoring the crotch to fit

Is it feasible to tailor the crotch of dress pants for a better fit? I would suppose that this would be very difficult as the zipper would get in the way of shortening the crotch for a more snug fit. Thoughts?
