I recently have had the liking of shirts with contrasting patterns (floral, pasley, ect) on the inside of the collars and cuffs for dress shirts. Brands I have been purchasing include English Laundry, and Bugatchai, and Burberry. I wear these to work with a tie and the cuffs buttoned so they do...
So I finally got my first nice dress watch, and I've discovered that it won't fit under the cuffs of 90% of my dress shirts. I guess the question is...is it even supposed to go under the cuff and does it look bad if the cuff is just up against it?
I suppose the title sums it up. Do you close all, some, or none of the buttons on your shirt when you machine wash them (front, gauntlet, cuff)? Any other details? Collars left turned down or do you flip them up? Turnback cuffs; do you unturn them or leave them folder back on themselves?
