Santoni vs Peal & Co. from Brooks Brothers vs Ferragamo
Pondering my first pair of authentically nice shoes. They'll be black cap-toed oxfords. I have a budget of up to about $600. Why does everyone here dislike "high-end" brands?
I am pretty much new to SF and I have been noticing that a lot of people here dislike "high end" brands such as Ferragamo,Gucci,Louis Vuitton,Burberry,Hermes,etc. What's the reason for that? Did some of you guys have bad experiences?- Mr Engineer

$5000 Shoe Budget - Suggestions Needed
My current shoe collection consists mostly of Ferragamos and Allen Edmonds and I'm thinking of re-vamping it. What would you pick if you had $5000 budget for dress/business casual shoes?
