I am selling these Carnet linen suiting cloths in tan and umber brown. Made in Italy. Weight is 350g. 3.5m of each. Makes up nicely and much more breathable than Irish linen. Greg from NMWA recommended this to me after having success with it himself. I've made up both these colours myself...
For sale 3.2 meters for a suit
Sample cloth looks darker than it is
Perfect for a sharp business suit!
Picture of a sample and a suit made into this (from Gus!! Brilliant!)
I bought it from edmorel a while back but I changed jobs and don't really see getting this made up any time soon if ever. I bought for 60/yard. I'll sell it for 210 conus shipping included.
PM me if interested.
This is ed's description and pictures. It does feel very nice...
I did a special run of the discontinued Minnis Rangoon 8/9oz tropical worsted recently. The available yarns are limited but we were able to recreate the exact original recipe in a dark grey nailhead. There is 3.1m left for sale.
Price is USD230 SOLD!!
Thanks for your interest.

Moving at the end of the month and don't want to be carrying cloth around. From Holland and Sherry 's Highland Glen Book (12 oz country suiting):
1) 2.7 yards Forest Green with a navy box stripe (subtle)
$75 (down from $95)
2) 3.83 yards in "Paprika Spice" with a faint blue and brown...
So I got deep down the rabbit hole and this is just the tip of the iceberg. Had 2 suits and a SC made with some of @edmorel ‘s fabric and that started me off like a crackhead.
3 left from original batch. New added up too.
Feel free to ask away with questions or make offers on multiple pieces...
· Eurotex Solaro Fabric bought from a Korean distributor.
· 3.20 meters for a suit
· Color is classic solaro, Olive/Red
· It's difficult to find Eurotex fabrics, and very good quality
· It's for summer/spring season with 300gr (10oz) weight. Most of solaros are 355gr (Smiths one for example).
I've read older threads on this but wanted to ask members how many yards or meters of plain fabric I'd specifically need for a:
I'm 5'11" / 1.8 meters tall and relatively thin with a 30" waist. Some members in previous threads recommended as low as 3 yards...
The good stuff. Vintage Lumbs Golden Bale cloth, made by H Lesser and London Shrunk. About 3.1 meters available, but the stripe is fairly narrow, so will make a sb 2 piece. The leftovers from a piece I bought from the merchant.
Beautiful Original Ermenegildo Zegna Cloth
2.5 Meters length, enough for a standard size jacket and a waistcoat or a large jacket
Medium weight, around 300gms/m
note: due to the sourcing of this cloth, the selfedge was removed and no tags are provided...
I'm selling this because I want the same cloth but one shade lighter. I paid 411€ for this. This are 2M of the 36655, a medium grey. Moonbeam is a very soft jacketing cloth with a cashmere feel but without the delicacy of it.
