The most recent issue of GQ featured several wingtip styles, including a black pebble-grain by Thom Browne. After unsuccessful telephone calls to NM in San Francisco and Bergdorf Goodman (where, according to GQ, the shoes could be found), I found them at the Thome Browne store on Hudson Street in N.Y.C. If anyone here saw them and is interested, the store has them in black and brown pebble. The telephone number there is (212) 633-1197.

Are the Thom Browne shoes the exact same as the Black Fleece ones? Made by Alden?

I think the Thom shoes are Tricker's.

What "extras" does the Thom Browne wingtips have over the Black Fleece, to justify the $400 price difference?
