Sorry for the poor iPhone pics. These aren't as dark as depicted in the photos. They are a typical "eggplant" dark burgundy color from Alden, in my opinion.
I purchased these from another Style Forum member but unfortunately too tight for my 8.5D feet.
These fit more TTS than Barrie lasted boots with a storm welt. The flat welt makes them fit similar to the J. Crew Cap Toe Boot, in my opinion, which most people recommend going TTS.
There are some light scratches (mostly around the ankle from improper packaging during shipment) that should be able to be buffed out using VSC/Saphir Renovateur etc and some brushing.
Commando sole still looks new, at least 90% life left in my estimation.
Get a great deal on an amazing boot that will last years with proper care.
