Savile Row & other Bespoke

I've sold a lot of world-class bespoke in the past few years, and thought I'd post links to pictures of some of the items. A general disclaimer: Some of the garments are ugly, and the pics are not exactly professional, they were meant for ebay sales and nothing else. Some of the older ones are really bad, sorry The mannequin is a size 40 irregardless of the jacket size. But they do give a general idea of the silhouette and detailing of various firms. All the garments are long ago sold with the exception of the last eight Fallan & Harvey garments (appx. size 40,) which are listed on ebay, also the clay brown double breasted cashmere suit in the "Misc." section. Thanks for the pictures. The clarity of photography and color on your EBay site is very useful to customers.

Looking at some of the items, particularly the A&S brown herringbone, I'm just mad at myself that I can't bring myself to buy used clothes, from you or anyone else.

Was made in 94' if I remember correctly. Quality was good but not great.

Maybe you can afford any suit out there;that's another story,then there's no need to even think about it.Maybe the used clothing is not absolutely perfect,but who cares,what is?Furthermore,once you've worn that $4000 Kiton suit once,it's only used clothing.Ah,well to each his own,I suppose.I know one thing,I'll never pay retail for clothing again.If I buy "new",it might be from Filene's Basement,but even there,the best things get manhandled and shopworn,so they possibly might have more problems than a well cared for used garment. I'm all for pennies on the dollar.

I buy suits on EBay, as I fit well into a 50Euro, and haven't spent more than $800-$900 on a suit. It's not ego (who knows if a jacket has been worn by anyone else) or cleanliness (jackets aren't underwear). I think if you had new or better quality clothes when you were a kid, you'd be less anxious about buying new clothes (or wear on your own clothes) when you're an adult. There are other threads on this subject.

Anyway, although I wanted to respond to fashionslave, I don't want to hijack this thread, which is about bespoke clothes not my own preferences, so this will be my only post on this subject. And, no, I obviously don't think there's anything "wrong" with buying the bespoke clothes of others from Andrew Harris or anyone else.
