I just bought a pair of Adidas Adi Racers - white leather - & I'm wondering if I should take any precautions before wearing dry denim so that my shoes don't turn blue?

Thank in advance.

you could roll them so that they never contact your shoes
or duct tape the inside of the legs
or maybe grease your shoes

but why fight it when you can love it?

be like a supple indigo plant that bends...

On leather, I think you can use an eraser to clean off any excess indigo that rubs off. If your shoes have any suede, then it's tough to get off.

Ha. If anybody asks about the blue stains on your shoes, just say that some Smurfs were giving you **** earlier, so you had to teach 'em a lesson.

Anybody remember Smurf marshmallows? Damn they were good. Never got around to making s'mores with them though.

Smurf1: So I took Smurfette out last night. As soon as we got out of the resturant she started smurfing me.

Smurf2: Right in the smurf'n parking lot?

Smurf1: Smurf Yeah!
