Whats up everyone. I lurk here a lot and rarely post, but I just came across this really great video yesterday for styling men's hair and thought I would share it. I didn't make this video, but based on the large amount of threads regarding hair, some of you could probably benefit from it.

I wasn't expecting much when I looked at it, but that was pretty awesome. Thanks!

Isn't blowdrying especially with such concentrated heat bad for your hair?

Interesting question - I have no idea. Maybe you could post the question in the video comments? He seems to be answering them. I would guess that because he only recommends washing/drying your hair every third-ish day, it probably isn't damaging. It likely would be if you did it every day.

Yeah I've just done that. Lets see if he replies.

heat damage generally occurs the moment you use hair dryers, so avoid if possible. at these short lengths, i dont think it makes much of a difference since you will just cut off the damaged hairs at the next hair cut

while the washing hair as for 2-3 days thing is somewhat true, i wouldn't want any hair products ending up on my pillow and then rubbing into my face for the whole night.

Yeah :S

At least not much better than the start or what I do in the morning with my towel. Maybe technique is good but things didn't work out great.

There's no reason to go through all of that blow-drying and work to get super generic frat douche style. It didn't even look like the 'messy' style he was supposedly going to show us.

lol frat douche style? I haven't seen too many frat guys with that hairstyle, but maybe it's because I live in the south. I would consider this more of a "frat" hairstyle:

Just out of curiosity, what would you consider a non-douche hairstyle?
