Shouldn't there be a limit on how many times someone can try to auction something?

No problem here, I just think it's funny how many times they have come up. Obviously they are not worth $5k to anyone who watches Ebay.

Oh, those boots are becoming legendary around here, and not completely because of their uniqueness and character. They've been relisted on eBay several times, and only now is there a bid. They're awfully nice, but the price is just ridiculous.

These Boots Are Made For Walking

You keep saying you've got something for me,
something you call love, but confess.
You've been messin' where you shouldn't have been a messin'
and now someone else is gettin' all your best.

These boots are made for walking, and that's just what they'll do
one of these days these boots are gonna walk all over you.

You keep lying, when you oughta be truthin'
and you keep losin' when you oughta not bet.
You keep sayin' when you oughta be changin'.
Now what's right is right, but you ain't been right yet.

These boots are made for walking, and that's just what they'll do
one of these days these boots are gonna walk all over you.

You keep playin' where you shouldn't be playin'
and you keep thinkin' that you'll never get burnt.
Ha!
I just found me a brand new box of matches yeah
and what he know you ain't HAD time to learn.

These boots are made for walking, and that's just what they'll do
one of these days these boots are gonna walk all over you.

Are you ready boots? Start walkin'!

Let's hope they walk finally out of eBay!

I'm curious, do you guys think these "shoes" (I guess you can't call them ice skates since he removed the blades) look good for casual wear? I think they look a little strange in the photos with slacks and denim.

Be brutal, as your opinions will have little effect as to my decision NOT to purchase these venerable Lobbs

If I made considerably much more income, maybe I'd humour the seller.

Actually, what does one do with $5000 used boots? Assuming that they're not ex-skates, do you wear them? Are they "pieces of art" that you display in your home? Are they props for your newly opened bootery? It's one thing to own them, I just don't know what one would do with them....
