Pros: workmanship | style | material
Cons: weight
These boots, made for J. Crew and listed as Red Wing 4183, are a fine example of a job well done.
They break in easily and then fit like a glove. The leather ages beautifully and applying a bit of shoe wax improves appearance and durability of the surface.

With proper care and attention as well as resoling when necessary, these boots should last for years to come.
